Aftercare Instructions

  1. 1-3 hours after receiving your tattoo, wash the bandage off under hot water.

  2. Use a plain soap like Dial Antibacterial (no bar soaps), and gently wash off any dried blood, ink, and any residue with your fingers. Pat the tattoo dry with a paper towel. Wash it this way 2-4 times per day.

  3. Do NOT re-bandage your tattoo. Let air get to it so that it may dry. Ensure that any clothing you wear is loose and clean. No tight or restrictive clothing should be on a new tattoo.

  4. Do NOT use and medicated products. We encourage the use of a non-medicated, unscented lotion such as Eucerin or Cocoa butter. You can do this
2-4 times per day, but always wash the tattoo before applying new lotion.
This will prevent your tattoo from becoming too dry.

  5. Do NOT expose your tattoo to sunlight during healing. Keep in mind, complete healing will take several weeks.

  6. Keep your use of water to a minimum. Soaking in water, and excess moisture can harm your tattoo. You want to keep your tattoos clean and dry. Showers are fine, but no submerging it (baths, hot tubs, oceans, lakes)

  7. Tattoos can take up to 3 weeks to heal. During this time it will form a slight scab.
Do NOT pick these or scratch your tattoo, as it will pull out the color. The scabs will flake off on their own.

A touchup can only be done when a tattoo is fully healed or there is a risk of scarring.
